At church yesterday one of the speaker talked about how each of us are like trees. His talk really touched me and made me think about how true that is. In my family we all seem to have a thing for trees....especially lone oak trees (though mine didn't turn out like one of those) But he challenged us to go home and draw our own trees. I chose to paint mine...on the back of the canvas I have written goals for me personally and for my family. Just wanted to share my tree with you.

Another attempt! I am not in love with this one...but I like it. I tried some other techniques..did I tell you I LOVE creating these? It's like therapy...seriously!

 

My first SheArt

I've been playing around a bit with mixed media art for the last few months. It is seriously my new LOVE. I've been taking a online course by Christy Tomlison it's all about mixed media and these how to create these adorable girls she has called sheart. This is how my first girl turned out...

Birthday Card Workshop

You know you want to come and play! This month is all about Birthdays! Classes are Tuesday the 22nd at 10 am and 7 pm, Wednesday at 7 pm and Thursday at 10 am. Class is $10 or order yourself $15 in scrap goodies and there is no monthly commitment. Here is peek of what we are making.
